Manual Bidding Deprecation
Want to retain the Manual CPC bidding for all new advertisers instead of using the Enhanced CPC. This is the best option for new advertisers as we will have a great control on our budget.
I used to do great with manual CPC, and found the "smart" systems not to be very smart. If it weren't for the Auto-max limit option, I'd not even bother. Not having manual bidding still may drive me away, and then you'll be getting NO busiiness from me.
This was a failed experiment Microsoft, please see it for what it is. All I’m talking to are reporting much worse performance since the deprecation of the good old and tested Manual CPC.
Advertisers are moving the majority of their spend back to Google because of this and similar recent changes.
You tried to innovate on this before Google, and you failed.

This is unreal. Why do we even set CPCs anymore if you are just going to charge us whatever makes you the most money?

Please bring back the Manual-CPC option...E-CPC is always spending the amount Far-off from the default bid & sometimes more than double of the default bid...It's not being possible to test/run multiple campaigns at once because E-CPC is exhausting all the balance overnight...
I can't run ads like this if all my balance gets exhausted with the blink of an eye before I can even get any conversion...
This is a Global Pandemic situation right now & most of us are on a very tight budget...E-CPC is killing all my campaigns by spending more than double for almost every keywords...
Please bring it back...
Please bring manual bid option back. With automated bid strategy, I end up paying higher CPCs for the same amount of clicks.

I use a third party bid management tool that requires manual bidding on the platform side to avoid bid conflicts...please bring back manual bidding. This makes no sense.

This is killing us. Since you automatically switched our best campaigns to eCPC, all our results are way down and really hurting our business. In some cases, it is possible to beat automated bidding. We've tested automated bidding for years, but always found we can beat it with manual bidding.
Please bring this back. It's crazy to take this away. It now makes more sense for us to put more of our advertising budget into Google instead due to the poorer results we're seeing.

I would like the manual bid option back please. Some keywords are not as valuable as others and I don't want to spend my money raising the bids on some lower value keywords.
Agree, bring back please. Nonsensical to take it away, for us at least.

I absolutely agree. This is a travesty and will do nothing but hurt small businesses and our ability to manage our own budgets and have the control we need to properly dial in our accounts. Google, your chief competitor, still offers a manual CPC because they understand how important that option is for businesses. You would be better served by keeping this option available to us because we can properly optimize our accounts and more willingly continue to pay for ads on your platform.
Taking away Manual CPC is deprecating for small business owners. This needs to come back to help accounts with smaller budgets.
