Stop asking this question on every Support Chat - For follow-ups, may I please have the best email address and phone number to reach you?
It is impossible to start a chat with support without being asked the following. "For follow-ups, may I please have the best email address and phone number to reach you?"
I have answered that question once and hoped that my answer would be registered in my profile for each support agent to see it and refrain from asking the same question over and over again each time I contact the "Live Chat" support team.
My contact dets are in my profile and show a valid email address and a valid US phone number.
I therefore do not understand why on earth I have to spend 2 to 3 minutes on each chat to attend to the far too insistent, repetitive and already answered question about how to best reach me for follow up.
I asked the last agent why they were all asking the question and she told me it was the "protocol".
It is about time to change the protocol and avoid bothering the user, and spare time for your agents and customers to focus on the support issue at hand.
