Welcome, friends!  This is a place for you to suggest a feature you'd like added to Microsoft Advertising, or vote for those already suggested by your peers to help them rise to the top of this feed.   1. Allow Bing advertisers to target LinkedIn Audiences

    Now that Microsoft owns LinkedIn, I (and my B2B clients) would love to be able to target their massively valuable audiences. Please add these into Bing Ads so we can take over the world together.

  2. support free advertising for non profit 501(c)(3) organizations like google with its grant program

    I feel Microsoft should support 501(c)(3) non profit organizations with free advertising search engine support like google does with its google grants program. as non profit organizations supporting the comunity should not have to pay to let people know the good they are doing in the community and to get support for thieer causes

    Thank you for your interest in Grants for Social Impact. The pilot is currently closed as we assess learnings and we are not accepting new handraisers at this time. Once the pilot expands or becomes widely available, we will follow up with you about next steps. I recommend the non-profit registers with Microsoft Philanthropies – https://nonprofit.microsoft.com/#/register. That is the first step to joining Grants for Social Impact and will give the non-profit access to other grant programs and opportunities with Microsoft products.

  3. ad groups with no active keywords / ads

    It would save so much time if there were flags or alerts in Editor whenever there were ad groups containing no active keywords or ads.

  6. Call Extension Conversions

    Currently in Google, you are able to stipulate that a phone call after 5 minutes is a conversion – but currently there is a way to do this on our platform. Ideally, my clients are hoping to be able to track conversions from the Call Extensions, rather than just having a call count.

    We’ve begun to investigate providing this feature and would like to hear more from those interested. Are you using call extensions already? If so, what percentage of your calls are over 5 minutes today based on the reports? If you aren’t using call extensions, is lack of this capability a blocker?

    How are you using this feature on other platforms and how does it help with your search engine marketing optimizations?

  7. Editorial Disapproval UI Messaging

    Please improve the UI messaging for editorial rejections and provide the reason for the disapproval. This will enable customers to know the cause of the rejection so they can, without having to contact Support for assistance, review the editorial policy and make changes to their campaign, appeal the rejection or realize that their business model makes them ineligible to serve ads on our network. T1 Support handles ~1800 inquiries about Editorial issues globally each month. This change could reduce inbound Support volume by 16% for editorial issues and decrease editorial escalations from T1 to T2 (saving Microsoft operational costs) as…

  8. Shared Library (cross-account) - Negative, Audiences etc etc

    We would love to see a shared library which can be used cross-accounts (similar to Google). At the moment this is only available by account.. which is a very slow process. Especially when you have multiple accounts across multiple markets. Please make my dreams come true.

    Shared library which supports user to share UET tag and remarketing list cross different manager accounts and accounts is in open beta pilot now, and will be available for everyone in the next few months.

  10. Stop dropping words from exact match keywords

    Bing has started dropping words from exact match terms and calling it under 'same search intent'. For example, they are dropping PURCHASE intent keywords like buy, order, online, ship, delivery and mapping it to the root words.

    For example, the keyword 'buy sticky toffee pudding' will show for the search 'sticky toffee pudding' because they say the intent is the same. The data I have absolutely differs - people do not convert on the root word, or if they do, it's a rate that makes the ROAS exceptionally poor.

    Also, Google does not do this. They do not drop words…

    We appreciate your feedback. We do not currently have plans to roll back the update to exact match, which included synonyms/implied words/same search intent. Our algorithms are constantly learning to improve the matching quality and we closely track close variant performance. For many advertisers, we have seen lower CPAs and higher CTRs for EEM compared to True Exact. It should also be noted that we will prefer true exact matches over any close variant where applicable. We will continue to monitor close variant quality as well as incorporate your feedback into our planning around any algorithm changes. We encourage you to continue to open support tickets if you are dissatisfied with the traffic your campaigns are receiving.

  11. Use an order ID to minimize duplicate conversions

    Currently, refresh of purchase confirmation page counts as one conversion, and Adwords's solution to that :

    It would be great to have a Report on the development of the size of the remarketing lists. The current audience Report does not Show the development of the list size over a selected time period. thanks.

    I would like to see Bing Ads Editor add a local comments field, like AdWords Editor has. I find it very valuable when I can leave comments when I'm editing, because I can come back in the future to see what was previously done.

  14. Time Zone Targeting Option

    Currently, when targeting ads by Hour of Day, adCenter bases delivery times off the user's time zone; whereas, AdWords bases delivery times off the advertiser's set time zone.

    Advertisers would like to have the option of which time zone is being used.

  15. Account owners should be able to remove an agency managing their account themselves

    Account owners should be able to remove any agency managing the account on behalf the owner without having to ask the agency to remove themselves. The fact that account owners don't currently have that ability is concerning.

    The current process is that the account owner has to go to the agency and ask that their account be released.

  17. Add a column to manage different conversion Steps

    I really like the possibility of having different customizable conversion steps (like browsing, prospects) that are different from the transactional conversion. This is really useful.

    But I see the only way to access this information is by making a report. On this report you have to tick "KW" so that you know which Keyword, adgroup and campaign triggeered those "mini-conversions".

    The idea is that this gives you a way to optimize when transactional conversions are not present. It would be great to have them directly on the management interface available on a column, for those who need it.

  18. Allow the option to link Bing Places accounts with Bing Ads accounts

    Allow the option to link Bing places accounts with Bing Ads accounts so that brands with a large number of business can create localized campaigns without having to manually enter location extensions. Google already allows this option, so if Bing wants to be a competitor, this is a feature that needs to be available.

    Currently, there is a call extension present in Bing Ads. This being especially an advantage for mobile users, it might be an idea to work on a communication extension that is very easy accessible and approachable for tablet, mobile devices and pc users. In short, this is the idea: email extensions. They would appear in the ad, and the costumer can click on them, which could potentially lead him/her directly to Outlook or other email applications.   20. custom formula columns

    Integration of Custom Formula columns will allow for unique metrics, or measurement that is unavailable otherwise but regularly manipulated/created in Excel (ie % of total spend, or conversions. etc.) This is Google (and Search Ads 360) parity.
