We do not plan to lower minimum bids below their current levels for the foreseeable future.

We operate an online store and work on a very small margin of 3%.

    If a $10 product is sold, we will profit: 3% x $10 = $0.3.

This means that if we would like to advertise this product in Bing, we have to hope it will sell on the 5-th click we received from Bing which is quite unrealistic expectation.

Please note that in some campaigns we have much higher bids in the ranges 0.20-0.50 but in these campaign we attract registrations and the cost is justified.

I think this is the main reason why Google allows bids smaller than 5 cents in their campaigns.

Google Adwords allows bidding at $0.01. I used to use Bing Ads as well as Google until I found I could get the average CPC on Google to below $0.05. I would likely return to also using Bing Ads if the bid could go lower than the $0.05 that they have currently, otherwise it's not worth using Bing.

You mean 1/10 of a cent, right? You might be able to set your default bid at $0.01 and then adjust bid by devices to 10%. Same procedure should work to get any other bid amount.

I think 4 years should be enough to give at least a "sorry we have a different business strategy" feedback, even if that isn't the right approach because of ruling out segments or whole verticals where 0.05 or even 0.03 doesn't a sustainable option, results only lost opportunity (and revenue).

This way the whole suggestion forum makes no sense.

Totally needed, we are spending 1000 usd per day on adwords on keywords we are alone paying 0,02 cpc.
On Bing setting up 0,05 we just lose money so we are not buying

We don't do the minimum bids on bing for all our products like we do on google. We would if we had one cent bids. For the 1000's of products we don't list on bing we would list them all

Would be nice if Bing allow user enter amount below $0.05. Google adwords allow this decades ago. Why don't bing allow this? There is a lots money Bing missing :)

Same here. In Google we are advertising for a specific high traffic website for around $0,01-$0,02 per click. The $0,05 minimum bid makes it not possible to use Bing as an advertising platform

Definitely needed! Will you please try to get this done ASAP (which shouldn’t require any time) because we have numerous clients that bid on high traffic/low advertiser competition keywords and some of them have a Q4 seasonal focus. For example, one client received 250K clicks at 1.5 cents per click on AdWords last December at a cost of around $4,000. We would like to spend that type of money with Bing Ads for several clients, but the 5 cent minimum bid is preventing us from doing so.
