Campaign Experiments - Split Testing of Bids, etc.

Campaign Experiments was introduced in AdWords last year and is incredibly valuable. It allows several forms of split testing traffic, but most importantly, you can bid two different amounts on a keyword and see if statistically significant differences emerge. I believe there is potential for bidding differently in the two platforms, but without experiments, it is difficult to test and so I generally just run experiments in AdWords and apply changes everywhere. The ability to test in AdCenter would be very valuable.

    We use the heck out of Campaign Experiments in Adwords. Adding the ability to test changes to bids/bidding strategy and other features would be extremely helpful - and make us a lot more likely to spend WAY more cash with Bing.

    Agree - We are looking for A/B testing landing pages. If Bing could launch a product to make this happen that would be great!

    Yes, I agree that this is really valuable on Google and clients offer large additional test budgets for this on a regular basis so the YBN is missing out on significant revenue. The best option here would be to have two ad groups in a campaign and then put a definite % weighting on the keyword in each ad group - more often than not this would b a 50/50 even split to create a fair test, but it is always good to have a choice. On Google, you can also have different destination urls, as well as different ad copy, on the keywords in each ad group so third party tools can track conversion data clearly back to the original keyword.
