Microsoft Advertising Feature Suggestions

Welcome, friends!  This is a place for you to suggest a feature you'd like added to Microsoft Advertising, or vote for those already suggested by your peers to help them rise to the top of this feed.   2. Allow user to sign out of their account when using Chrome.

    When a customer has two Bing Ad accounts, allow them to sign out so they can access the other when using Chrome.

  3. When Prepaying, Don't Hold Extra Dollar.

    I prepay for my ads. This way I can avoid overdrafts on my bank account. Recently I received an overdraft fee when I knew that I had enough to cover it. After looking into the matter, my bank informed me that Microsoft Adcenter has been charging for the proper amount PLUS $1.00! This extra $1.00 is just a hold. Microsoft does not actually take the money, but if you allow your account to stay at a minimum to get the job done, this can cause overdrafts, even though you will never really overdraft.   4. Not duplicating mobile ads from Adwords

    Please properly import mobile ads in AdWords. Currently, all mobile ads from AdWords are pulled in, mobile-specs are removed, and suddenly I have duplicated ads in Bing.
    It's super annoying!

  6. Export Only the Columns You Have Chosen to View

    When exporting keyword or ad group performance results, it'd be nice if it just exported only the columns I have chosen to view and in the order I have chosen to view them so I don't have to manually adjust the report.

  7. Please include a billing report that allows an agency to find which account matches to which charge from bank statement.

    A new report or even the billing statement report which can show the total spend per document number. It is difficult for agencies to match billing charges, which only show transaction dates, to the account that accrued the charge(s). Picture trying to find the account when you have over 100 client accounts

  9. Add "Date created" and/or "Date last edited" column to "ads" tab

    This would help with ad copy optimization to quickly compare performance of more recent ads with longer-standing ones during only the date range they were both running simultaneously (most reliable data).

    Currently I have to either keep track of ad creation date elsewhere, like a spreadsheet, or continually narrow down my date range to see when the ads have equal impressions to determine this.

  10. I would like to see a report that shows exact date and time of conversions

    It would be very useful to link specific conversions with sales in our backend, which could be done if there was a simple report that outputs the time of each conversion.

  12. Status of AdGroups in Desktop Editor Should Not Be Affected by Budget Pause

    While working in Desktop Editor, I should see the status of an AdGroup (Active or Paused), instead of the current status. As of right now, all my AdGroups say Budget paused, which doesn't tell me which AdGroups are actually Active or Paused. Editor should NOT be affected by what's going on in the actual account in that way. The only way for me to tell is to click each AdGroup individually and look at the status column in the Edit Details pane, which is not efficient.

  14. Re-marketing budget is too high for country like India

    As told by your call center person, minimum budget to try re-marketing is INR 50K and text search again INR 50K. So, unless one invest INR100K they can not test the platform. This is big turn off for SMEs and start-ups especially in the market where Google is offering matching budget scheme at ultra low value (less than 2K)

  15. Allow targeting for Metro groups

    At the moment you cannot target any metro areas in the UK only London is available as a city. You should make it possible to target all over the UK

  17. Display Change History Row Count and Enable More Rows

    Two issues: First, it doesn't show how many total rows there are or how many pages of data there are in the page selector at the bottom of the main table. Second, the maximum number of rows is 200, which is too low. Please increate to a much larger number.

  19. Ad Page Selector to Top of Lists

    If I have a lot of rows, I have to scroll all the way to the bottom to see how many more pages there are and to go the next one. Please add the same controls to the top of the page.

  20. Default Keyword Bids Should be to Ad Group

    Keywords in new ad groups have their bids not set to the ad group default. This means users have to remember to change the setting if they want to change the bids at the ad group level, otherwise nothing happens, and a lot of traffic can be missed or budget over-spent.

    Changing the default has no impact on users that want to do keyword-specific bids, so there's really no reason NOT to do this.
