Desktop compatibility with Mac
One of the most common complaints we hear on Twitter and in the forums on the Microsoft Advertising Community site is that users want access to the adCenter Desktop for Mac.

Add an integrated front-end bypass request feature (just like the Google exemption request button). (inline editorial appeals)
Allow users to upload ads/keywords for review, which are currently blocked for editorial reasons, using an integrated bypass request feature.
Currently we have to manually request bypasses via email, and then come back and re-upload the data a few days later. This is cumbersome at best.
Let us just upload the data once (leave it inactive initially) and then request the bypass then and there.
Google includes this functionality in both the desktop app and the WebUI. The usability is much higher than the current Y|B system.
Thanks

Give a different Keyword ID to each match type of a single keyword
This will allow:
- Bidding in Phrase or Broad match only
- Setting a different bid for each match type
- Setting a different tracking URL for each match type169 votesplanned ·

Extend the adCenter session so it doesn't time out.
Let me keep adCenter minimized on my task bar and not have to log in when I'm ready to use it.

Don't require Silverlight
It's too slow and too cumbersome compared to other interfaces.

Update: as part of the adCenter web UI upgrade released on 11/8, the “Simple” version of the adCenter homepage includes a rich experience with graphs that do not rely on Silverlight. If you experience performance issues with the “Interactive” version of the adCenter homepage, give the new “Simple” version a try and let us know what you think. (Silverlight is not required to manage your campaigns in adCenter.)

Enable modified broad match as Google now has
In late 2010, Google released a new keyword match type within Adwords called "Modified Broad Match" (MBM). With MBM each word in the keyword phrase, or a relevant variation of each word, must exist somewhere in the user's search query. Bing needs to offer this as well. For more on this topic, see:

Allow True A/B Testing of ad creative
I would like the ability to have ad creatives rotate more evenly within adCenter so that I can run a true A/B Split Test. Google AdWords has this function as a setting at the Campaign level where you can choose to "Show ads more evenly" or "Optimize for clicks" or "Optimize for conversions". Currently, one must test ads in Google and then try the winners out in adCenter.

When a customer's ads stop serving suddenly or does not serve at all.
When a customer's ads stop serving suddenly or does not serve at all, sometimes there are no disapprovals to show cause; therefore, adCenter needs to have an alert why; ie. No Privacy Policy, not enough keywords on landing page, no relevancy or poor quality and have links to send them to the appropriate pages on advertising.microsoft.com.

Enable Auto-Tagging of Destination URLs for Analytics Tracking
It would be great if we didn't have to manually code each destination URL just to get the data to track correctly in our web analytics. Since most small to medium sized businesses are not at the point where they will devote a portion of their marketing budget most of our clients utilize GA because it is free. creating a feature that would automate the tagging with UTM codes would be a big help for many many advertisers.

For Agency Management, for an Agency to be able to pull a “Master Report” with basic client data.
The agency would be able to pull a Master Report with all vital overview information for each account that they manage, ie: spend, clicks, impressions, avg position, ctr etc. This would make it easier and more effective for agencies to to manage large numbers of accounts.

Add alerts to indicate how targeting has been set
There should be an alert either at the top of adCenter or somewhere in red on the settings (Campaign/ad Group) to indicate what exactly is being targeted. This will help with the confusion on how people have their targeting set.

Allow more than one credit card to be associated to one account (back up credit card)
And when more than one credit card is added, allow one to specify it as a backup so if the first one fails for some reason the backup can be tried rather than an account going on credit hold.

give me an "agency login" that gives me full functionality
As a campaign manager, I have many clients. In order to get full functionality, I have to logout then login (and keep track of all of the login info) for each client. Can you just give me an "agency login" that gives me full functionality? (The current equivalent doesn't give all the reports, for example.) Make all reports available to all manager login types

ad preview tool that does not require log in so I can send proof to clients that their ads are up
It would be great if we could have a public ad preview tool similar to what Google has that doesn't require log in so that clients can see their own ads since Bing won't display them all the time and as an advertiser I want my clients to know their ads are in fact up and provide them a way to check them themselves.

Allow customer's to make partial/split payments
While using the "Bill me now" feature, customer should be able to choose which payment method to use and to enter in an amount to pay. We have customers whose threshold is $2,500 but only have a $2,000.00 credit limit on their credit cards. This would be great if they could make split payments with two or more different payment methods.

Geographic Targeting by radius, distance from city, zip code or address.
Would be really nice if we could target say 25 miles from an address, zip code or city center. There should also be, by default, a custom shape geographic targeting option.

Improve the ad preview tool
Some ideas:
Since some advertisers copy other peoples ads word for word, the tool should indicate if an ad from ones account is displaying or not as otherwise it is not possible to tell whos ad is showing in these cases.
Add better geo targetting.
Ability to view multiple pages.
Ability to access a version without being logged in, something as simple as adding a adtest=on variable to the normal Bing search results URL
